Call for papers
On 29-30 May 2017, Department of Economics and Center
for Economic Research at Norwegian University of Science and Technology organize
a workshop on ‘Education, Skills, and Labor Market Outcomes’ in Oslo. The
purpose is to stimulate research in the broad area of economics of education,
and to bring together young and experienced researchers. The workshop will put
particular emphasis on incentives shaped by educational systems on adult skills
and further labor market outcomes.
The keynote speakers are Guido Schwerdt, University of Konstanz, Germany
and Hessel Oosterbeek,
University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
The deadline
for submission of papers is 13 March, 2017. Young
researchers are particularly encouraged to submit. For submission, please send
the paper, or 2-3 page abstract, to marianne.haraldsvik@svt.ntnu.no.
Authors of submitted papers will be notified about acceptance
early April.
The organizing
committee consists of Torberg Falch, Lars-Erik Borge, and Bjarne Strøm, at
Department of Teacher Education and Department of Economics, Norwegian
University of Science and Technology. The organizer will provide accommodation
and reimburse economic travel costs for authors presenting a paper. Further
