Call for papers
On 26-27 May 2014, Department of Economics and Center
for Economic Research at Norwegian University of Science and Technology
organize a workshop on ‘Educational Governance and Finance’ in Oslo. The
purpose is to stimulate research in the broad area of economics of education,
and to bring together young and experienced researchers. The workshop will put
particular emphasis on incentives shaped by systems of governance and finance
of educational institutions.
The keynote speakers are Nora Gordon, Georgetown University, and Jonas Vlachos, Stockholm University.
The deadline
for submission of papers is 10 March, 2014. Young researchers are particularly
encouraged to submit. For submission, please send the paper, or 2-3 page
abstract, to marianne.haraldsvik@svt.ntnu.no.
Authors of submitted papers will be notified about acceptance by the end of
March.
The organizing
committee consists of Torberg Falch, Hans Bonesrønning, Lars-Erik Borge, and
Bjarne Strøm, all at Department of Economics, Norwegian University of Science
and Technology. The organizer will provide accommodation and reimburse economic
travel costs for authors presenting a paper. Further questions regarding the
